I just watched this video 10 minutes before going training. we were drilling back defence. I had about 20 people take my back and most at my place love the bow and arrow. This escape did not come even close to working once..

I explained the details to them all to see if i was missing something, but even my instructor couldnt see how it could work.

My arm just felt really weak putting it behind my head like that to grab the elbow and pull the guys arm over my head. Not sure what im missing?

this move rocks....the put your hand behind the head part I do right when I am in turtle and about to get bow and arrowed...just doing that neutralizes the choke when you get put face

im assuming this will work from every position? I usually get caught (at my school, by training partners) when I get lazy laying under someone's technical/s-mount. I'm assuming as long as I maintain the wrist control and the control the back of their arm with my forehand to the back of my head, as long as I stay compact and try to float my hips (obviously from a different angle from under s-mount)? if that makes sense...
