Unused Rosa Romance in Assassin's Creed 2 [Cut Content]

Ezio and Rosa originally had an intimate relationship in the game as in the Assassin's Creed: Renaissance novel. There is a cut bonus mission where Rosa and Ezio race to the top of the tower and make love.

Rosa was even supposed to come back in AC Brotherhood and be the main love interest for Ezio. While her voice actor’s death cancelled that, it has been confirmed by developers that Ezio and Rosa did have a romantic relationship during his time in Venice. According to the Brotherhood book, she joins the Brotherhood and serves as one of La Volpe’s apprentices, however, she and Ezio would never cross paths again.

I have always liked Rosa and Ezio chemistry since i was a kid. It had a good build-up when she stole from him and then had the man she robbed save her life. In the end, with Antonio partnership they work together to free Venice from the Templars. I was sad that they didn't get together because of the voice actress death and was written off.

You know I think I finally nailed why these feel so eerie to me compared to other games' cut content restoration attempts.
These feel lore accurate because the animus does not pull 100% of the memories. There is much that is lost or corrupted. So it creates this eerie feeling for me and my headcanon is these were some of the memories Desmond never got to see.

Even though they did cut this scene because of va's death, i prefer they did Cristina scene in Brotherhood.
Their love was complicated as he was pulling her away from being targeted by Ezio's enemies, her death scene was heartbreaking.

He didn't truly love his wife like Cristina, but loved her as what he wished to be with Cristina.

It's cool to see cut content from the game, Rosa kinda reminds me of Catwoman or Black Cat in both Batman and Spider-Man. I wonder how many missions are cut in the game.
