In this whimsical road movie by Cannes veteran Tony Gatlif, Djam, a free-spirited young Greek woman, is sent to Istanbul by her uncle to find a rare engine part that will repair his boat. There, she meets Avril, a humble but penniless 19-year-old French woman volunteering for Syrian refugees.

Together, the two strangers embark on a journey bonded by their spirit for adventure and music from Istanbul to Mytilene.
