Kobalt XTR VS Ryobi HP Round #1

Short # 61

In this shoot out I take the Kobalt X.T.R. and us the High output battery up against the Newer Ryobi 4 Mode HP Impact driver with a HP battery, but not the high output battery.
this will be the fist of Several videos Where I use different battery combinations to see if that affects the outcome of the test.

Honestly does it really matter, they both get the job done and RYobi is significantly cheaper

FINALLY. somebody did a VS video with XTR. i have the XTR combo set and that impact will walk the dog on any impact but you never see a VS video w the XTR. the only downside is that Kobalt does not stand behind its products unless you have the receipt, and their batteries dont go but a couple years with medium use. so if you get/ give a kobalt gift then keep the receipt at all costs bc lowes refuses to replace anything kobalt wo it.

Both impressive, but the kobalt is a 24v and ryobi 18v both good value for your money.

Ryobi is not a bad brand for DIY projects. It’s also made by a different company.
I would actually like to see the Ryobi vs Hart, so you’re in the same manufacturer and relatively similar price.

These will never be unbiased unless you put a 40 pound weight and let gravity do the work. Using your hands will always give bad results.

you really needa toss a high performance battery on that ryobi it actually does wonders for the hp tools vs other batt.s.... but I know no onw wants to see ryobi actually perform, , , let alone win.. sp lets toss an 8 year old battery on er n call it a day
