Every time I listen to this song I remember the time when I travelled to nudo del paramillo jungle in southern Cordoba - Colombia, it's a remote place full of nature, savage land and exotics animal, the only way you get there is by the river. it takes almost 6 to 8 hours to get there. that is a place where indigenous communities live. it was the best moment in my life i had never been in such a far away place, no electricity, no cars, sleeping in hammonks just watching the star in the sky, god.. and this song was one of the tracks i carried for listening, thanks so much!

Maestro Rafael Mejia Romani wrote this song in honor of Martha Ligia Restrepo 1962 Miss Colombia and queen of the Carnival of Barranquilla in 1963. He also used the Santa Marta bay as a background imaging Martha Ligia emerging from the ocean as a crowned queen.
