The spawn tip is useful but not always accurate. The spawns in this game feel a bit dumb at times. The amount of times I’ve spawned, turned left and been shot immediately is ridiculous.

New player here and the color for the enemy icon has helped out so much. I was getting killed left and right not knowing from where or how and this helped tremendously with that, the only thing I’m having trouble with is the maps and that’s because I’m not familiar with them yet

Im sure you're not the first to point this out, but you're the first for me that mentioned the Gun Range which isn't that exciting but I thought it was a nice addition to the game and having the ability to check out the feel of your weapon loadout. Great video by the way. Thanks for the pointers!

Playing the objective on hardpoint has definitely been the most effective way to rank up, for me personally anyway. I typically still get more kills doing that than in Invasion, but that could just be because I am more familiar with the smaller maps and I'm typically not the biggest fan of the larger maps. I am more of a traditional cod player. I'm not a big fan of Warzone either

Freebie tip: when popping Double XP Tokens, utilize your favorite personal assistant (Siri, Alexa, Google) to set a timer. In another glaring oversight, IW failed to include a timer for XP Tokens in-game. Hopefully they can add this with Season 1. The more I play, the more I feel like I'm still playing a [paid] beta.

As an FYI you will show up as a red dot on the map when firing an un suppressed weapon if the the enemy has a UAV up

#5 is completely wrong. Pay zero attention to where your teammates are spawning. Enemies will spawn anywhere and everywhere, especially behind you. Just pray

My issue is the ppl that only have 2 perks enabled and have infinite tac sprint, can switch between weapons and using equipment and sprint to shoot instantly downing you in what seems like 2 to 3 shots. So sure of the kill they start to move on before the game even registers I'm down. Ppl say oh your just bad or get better internet. I'm not the best at the game but I can see a clear difference between someone using external modifications and someone playing the game without. The game just doesn't allow you to move as fast as these ppl are moving. I've tried and tested every perk and gun layout even paying mind to what these ppl use and it's still a no go. It doesn't matter if I get a steady 120+ fps and have 20 ping. It's just ridiculous to make a game like this that ppl who cheat thrive on. Back in the day you couldent even log onto a game with a hook.dll without it booting you before you even got on the game.

Thanks for the tips! Changing the enemy colour and dead zone settings has really helped. Feels like a cheat but if it's available to everyone - why not?!? Also, why the hell haven't I been using scorestreaks in every CoD title I play before?!?! I usually play objective based and I'm popping way more streaks than before I turned this on! Thanks loads!

Another tip…. Quit your job, break up with your partner, and dedicate every waking minute to MW2! Yep, sounds ridiculous, but the amount of people ranking up INSANELY fast is kind of pathetic to me…. I’m like 30-31 while most people in my lobbies are already well into prestige…. Having time to play is a hell of a thing….

Did you know Firing an Unsuppressed weapon DOES show a red dot IF a UAV is active :)
With a suppressor you only show on the mini map briefly after the UAV "sweep".
Suppressor + Ghost = Invisible on Minimap when UAV is active.

I have such a hard time adapting, back in the old cod days, mw, mw2, black ops 1 and 2 I used to have a 2-3kd. Now, I struggle to even get a 1. I don’t get it, I think it’s because I use to be such an aggressive player, now these cod games it’s all about staying in one spot.
