Python - Installing Python and PyScripter under Windows

In this video, I demonstrate how to install Python and the useful editor PyScripter under Windows. [This video was created initially for part of a University course.]

Thank you. This was great. I'm just learning Python and had been using the IDLE and found switching back and forth between the IDLE and the file pretty annoying. While it took a little while to get the compatible versions of Python and Pyscripter installed, I really like that I can now code and see the results all in one place. Your tutorial really helped. When I try to start PyScripter it just gives me a message saying "Python cannot be properly initialised. We must quit."

So it seems they stopped development for PyScripter which means newer versions of Python WILL NOT WORK!
You need to download older versions of Python :/

Python could not be properly initialize Download a 32bit version of python first. Then download a 32bit version of PyScripter. It will work after that
