40 Winks is one of my most favorite PS1 games and I also really like Tick Tock Manor too including the music that plays in this level! This is one of my favorite levels in the game, and the music that plays for this level also plays in Crusty Rusty Wreck as well!

As a kid this was one of the toughest possible first levels in any game I played back then. Adding to the difficulty there were so many things about this level that made me nervous and afraid of to play it... like right from the start there is an endlessly respawning ghost enemy in the first room that will slowly come after you. As a child this was rly terrifying for me xD Then you open that first possible door into that small hallway and you're immediatly greeted with this hideous dark spider enemy and more of them in the basement... like imagine a manor level and you're immediatly heading down into the basement and damn was that part long. It also had this hallway you could fall down into more spiders if you messed up the platforming but it turns out you have to go all the way down there anyway because of some pick ups you need! D: And later in the library there is this endlessly respawning zombie who is stalking you and waits for you to mess up the platforming on the bookshelfs... then later there is that room with those crazy huge trap doors that you just fall into and die if you don't know. Like... this was an insanely tough first level that felt liek it went on and on and I struggled to complete the first world because of it!! xD
