I went to the eras tour this summer and I have a lot of videos of just a little part of the stage where you can't even see Taylor. But I know that I was having a hella good time singing and dancing with her ✋🏻😭

The thing is- sometimes seeing the concert through your phone is better because your phone can zoom. Seats are expensive.

I would say take videos during memorable moments, like the intro and Outro, or your favourite songs. You’re gonna wanna look back at those, I know from experience. For the rest, just put your phone down and enjoy the moment.

If it’s a good show of an artist you love. You’ll remember it. If you want to rewatch it, everyone else is recording, you’ll be able to find videos.

I went to soad a while back. My all time favorite band. I was right by the stage, everyone next to me was recording the big screen instead of watching the band that was feet from them. It’s crazy. I do not regret having no pictures from the concert, it’s such an amazing memory that I will never forget.

This is why I think there needs to be a social media centered around events and concerts. The people at the front will record and post the videos, and everyone behind them can rest easy knowing they’ll have footage that’s posted to the concert page afterwards. Less phones in the air means a better viewing experience for everyone! I don’t like facebook but I miss the days when everything had a facebook event 😭

You can do both. Moments like this are expensive so it makes you want to save it. So people record so then can look back. You can record while actually paying attention to the concert. It's not that hard. You press a button and let it ride.

You are a performer. So perform. Who cares that they film you. People pay big money to see you. If you don’t want them filming it. Make it a rule

I cant really afford concerts anymore but i used to get them for free for working at a liquor store and I always made a rule that i would only record one or two parts of my favorite song. The rest was just for me to enjoy the moment. My memory is terrible so I kinda wish I had a few more videos but hey I still remember having a blast 😂

my mom took me to the think later concert for tate mcrae and she offered to record tate for me so i could enjoy the show because i never liked holding my phone when i was watching something i always just loved pouring my heart out with Tate

I only allow myself about 5 minutes of footage at a concert. I don’t go over that. I record my favorites and I be in the present for the rest. I highly recommend that others do the same.

Idk, personally, I have never been to a concert, so if I ever do go to one, it will probably be the only one in my life, so when my favorite song comes on, I’ll probably record it. Yes you should “live in the moment” but most of the time, people aren’t recording to post online, I take lots of pictures and videos on special occasions and put them in a album on my phone to save for whenever I feel down to rewatch and get excited abt.

I agree with Billie’s point about the whole situation. Thing is if I’m going to pay a ton of money for a seat then I want something look back on or pass on to my kids saying that I went there. I guess I just don’t like the way she reacts to her fans. Probably why I’m not a fan . No judgement to those who are! ❤
