This is Lenny truly being himself.
Don Lino: Will you get me out of this, so I can hug my kid and tell him I'm sorry.
In the end Don Lino accepts his son Lenny for who he is regardless of what he eats or how he dresses.
I can picture a dad finally accepting his son regardless of his diet (choice of food) or what he likes to wear even if it's cross-dressing.
