Use the compatible apps on your smartphone without having to operate it.
Once connected to your PEUGEOT, the compatible apps are displayed on the 7-inch touchscreen in a format that does not compromise driving safety.

With Mirror Screen, you can also use your compatible favorite apps in your vehicles: listen to web radios from all over the world and audio books or use a GPS system to get to your destination faster.

We explain how you can use the Mirror Link function with the help of the MirrorLink technology for smartphones with Android.

With the engine running, connect your smartphone to the USB port. Note: for security reasons and depending on the phone, the display is deleted or restricted. In this case, control takes place via the touchscreen of your PEUGEOT. Press “Connect” (108) or “Menu / Communication Services / MirrorLink” (new 208 / new partner) on the touchscreen of your vehicle.

With the CarPlay technology, which has been available since the end of 2015, you can use your iPhone's apps on the touchscreen of your PEUGEOT. Look forward to a safe user experience.

To use Android Auto, you need to have a car or a car radio installed after purchase which are compatible with Android Auto™, and a phone running Android version 5.0 (Lollipop) or later.

First download the Android Auto app to your smartphone from the Google Play store.

A few words are enough. Control everything quickly and easily using your voice, thanks to advanced voice technology (requires an internet connection). Make calls and send or receive messages while keeping your hands on the wheel.

Let Google Maps™ guide you. Thanks to features like turn-by-turn voice navigation, information on traffic conditions and street direction arrows, you will reach your destination very easily.

 Android Auto is available on all PEUGEOT models with a touchscreen.
 Android Auto is compatible with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and above.
 Download the Android Auto App from Google Play Store to the smartphone.
 Make sure your phone has a strong and fast network connection.
 Remember that Android Auto uses your phone data, so check your contract agreed with your mobile phone provider.

Access your ‘Maps’ via the color touchscreen and get turn-by-turn directions, information on traffic conditions and estimated travel time. Type an address or your postcode via the touchscreen or ask OK Google to guide you there.

Never has music been so easy to play with Android Auto. Access your playlists and songs via
the touchscreen or ask OK Google to do it for you: Me: OK Google, can you play ‘Over the horizon’ for
me? OK Google: All right, asking to play ‘Over the horizon’.

Android Auto brings familiar apps and services to the screen in the car. Access and stream all your favorite music with apps like IHeartRadio, Spotify and more… Waze is also available in Android Auto to help you with live traffic conditions and suggested destination.

Dictate what you’d like to say and OK Google will write your text message for you. If you receive a
message while driving, OK Google can read it out loud so the entire conversation is spoken.

Make phone calls without taking your eyes off the road. Android Auto will search your contacts and
offer you phone options so you’re not distracted from driving.

Activate voice recognition by pressing the Micro Button on your touchscreen or on your
steering wheel (if available), or (we recommend this) by saying ‘OK Google’. When you hear a beep, start talking.

You will then be presented with the Android Auto homepage, which displays the weather forecast and the strength of your signal or your battery level. You will also see the Micro button to use for the voice recognition, as well as the different apps that can be used on the bottom with the ‘Home’ button in the middle.

Mirror Screen offers 3 mirroring protocols with which you can connect your smartphone to your touchscreen.

One correction and some good news: If you keep the Voice command button on the steering wheel pressed a little longer, the Peugeot voice control is bypassed and Google Voice command gets activated instead. Works like a charm, just tested successfully with my new 508 GT. Nice video!

Hi, at minute 1:20 appear the menu' where you can choose "Connect Apps" or "Android Auto". Is there any configuration that permit to load "Android Auto" without clicking on it ? Tnx in advance

I’ve just bought a 2020 model of the 208 with the larger screen but if I was buying one new I would not pay the extra money for the larger screen as it is a big con. The settings/air con bars are ALWAYS down each side making the usable part of the screen about 7” if not less. You would be better off with the 7” screen knowing the entire screen is used.

Thanks a lot for this video, we got our 3008 today, I am amazed by the high level of quality of internal and performance of the car.The noice and the vibration was almost zero.We had nissan qashaki 2014 previously so I see the comfort is really exeptional in comparison.Anyway, the multimedia waa sort of bothersome as I couldnt see all the fun stuff I was seeing from review videos, now I got some ideas how to set ot up properly.Cant wait to have great memories with our new car:)

Thank you for this informative video! We will get our 2008 GT in a couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward to using CarPlay. Our 1st generation 2008 from 2014 struggled so much with connectivity even via Bluetooth. Sounds great how easy it works these days! 😍
And I think it’s okay that it doesn’t work without a cable. Yes, via Bluetooth would be perfect, but you can’t have it all. It's still a Peugeot, not a high-end Mercedes AMG. Maybe in a few years. 😅

Hey thanks for this video! With my Samsung A51 there seem to be connectivity issues. First there is a conflict with the bluetooth phone connection and second while connected with mirror screen e.g. to google maps it keeps disconnecting every few seconds and reads 'check your connection'. Any ideas? Thanks!

We need an update from peugoet to allow wide-screen (fill up entire screen) and android wireless play, no point having a charging plate if you can't charge and use android auto
