A lot of people seem to be mis-using Valkia as a one man army, diving alone into enemy forces. She doesn't have the mass to get away and it keeps getting her bopped once the invulnerability wears off.

I guess Im just unlucky, but seems like most of the Valkia replays I've seen, is her getting beat up like she did in her trailer. 😅

Throgg's mass definitely carried that fight for him; he bullied Valkia too effectively for her to do much damage back. Also pretty sure he actually stomped one of the Flesh Hounds to death, which is hilarious.

I see a lot of players holding back the Khorne Marauder Horsemen from good melee engagements which I think is just a mistake. 44 WS and 39 CB is nuts for a skirmish cav. At 700 these guys have similar damage output to Hellstriders with Hellscourges before the BvI. Honestly they're probably at least 100 gold underpriced if you compare them to marauder horsemasters. If you have a choice between a safe charge or safe volleys the charge is almost always worth it.

Valkia could maybe do with a small combat stat boost, but I think most people have just been using her inefficiently. She’s small with low mass but fast and people keep trying to throw her into 1 on 1 duels and expect her to beat standard combat characters. I don’t know her lore well enough to suggest any other ability changes, but I do think the judgements about her being too weak are still really early in the meta.

I think the worst mistake here is not focusing the marauder horseman ranged attack vs throgg. Fire damage and armor piercing wouldve kept him away for the whole fight.

No idea why you would bring skullcrushers against a faction with a large amount of anti large ap. Barely any warriors to beat infantry and ZERO bloodletters to guarantee the melee win. The throwing axes are a perfect counter to throgg with ap and fire damage and not a single axe was thrown his direction lol.

Based on stats alone, I would certainly be betting on Valkia : she's a small target and as such not subject to Throgg's anti-large, giving her a huge edge in hit chance, and her fire damage not only allows her to deal up to 100 extra damage but also halves the regeneration Throgg enjoys

I just fee like berserkers are gonna be good in the infantry spam meta for what they when they aren't getting nuked by missiles.

I love playing Khrone in multiplayer and I've honestly found more success with the exalted bloodthirster than Valkia or skarbrand.

Don't get me wrong, Valkia and Skarband 100% have their places and are better in different situations but overall, the exalted bloodthirster just has solid match ups across the board. He can out duel most legendary lords of other factions, he can hunt elite infantry/cavalry and most importantly...

He has MASS and FLYING. Those 2 things alone honestly make him so great. You cannot lock him down like you can Valkia or Skarband because he has the best of both worlds. I feel like the exalted bloodthirster is kind of slept on right now.

I think Skarbrand is much better choice in this matchup than Valkia.

i haven't played much with valkia but shes extremely mediocre in my experience she doesn't have high burst she has way too little a hp to be good in a long fight which makes her buff and especially her debuff useless and shes easier to trap then a horse lord the only great tool she has is her spear
azezal will do everything she can but better besides armour of course
