If a cask doesn't install all the way and I have to rerun the command, is there anything that I need to delete? Does brew cleanup handle this?

Check out the brew bundle function. You can export all your casks into a bundle file and install it with one command. Brew bundle, with git and crontab is how I make sure both my laptop and desktop have the same setup.
