Hopefully these graduates wont have to experience the devastating emotions of the service members that diligently served and died in Afghanistan for over 20 years, only to be ordered home, forced to leave those faithful Afghani people who risked their lives helping us, in exchange for a promise of safety and security in America for them and their families. Instead of keeping our word, we showed them (as well as our allies, that America, (under this president), no longer honors our promises, nor cares about our own military, many who questioned whether their service and sacrifice had any value at all. That entire ordeal was the biggest failure our "Commander in Chief" has ever put our country and military service men and women through, sending them into despair and questioning whether their decision to "serve and defend" the Constitution of the United States of America. That was a kick in the teeth to all who have served, knowing that what occurred was nothing short of abandoning our mission, leaving people who trusted us, and even America citizens, while arming the "enemy" with equipment and artillery enough to turn around and use it again our own people, as well as eliminating all of the Afghani people who we betrayed. That is what I thought about throughout this very odd graduation "speech".
