Very interesting video. I like the first third, when you create the composition, bobcat by object. This is exactly what I do; on image manipulation software, but it's the same. 

Tradition artists did the same. They pick a tree from a sketch, a mountain from another sketch, and so on.


I liked also the speech about unwanted tangents.

Can't believe I mised this. Thank you, Tom! I was one of the people asking for this and I am so glad you did the video! I had no idea that the tracing part can be put into groups like this! Definitely an eye opener.

SO useful Tom. Tutorials explaining button by button and what each does help, but not as much as explaining what one is trying to achieve and WHICH setting in Rebelle will help with that goal, IN A REAL PAINTING. Thanks.
