Played his High School Football in Freer, Texas & was known as "Ban Bam Mcmichael". Great Football Player who played for a small town. A High School All American & also All American at UT Austin.

In 13 seasons with the Bears, McMichael was a starter the last 11. During those 11 seasons the Bears had a top 5 defense (ppg) in 7 of those seasons! In only TWO of those 11 seasons did the Bears finish outside of the top 10 defensively. That is greatness! Read that again.

My old man, Chicago born and raised, seeing his Bears finally win 1985. Cubbies in 2016, and the Blackhawks’ wins throughout the decades before leaving us in 2019 meant the world to him. As well as the countless other Chicago fans, was immeasurable.

Didnt get to see him play ball but watched him wrestle for WCW. Guy was a natural athlete and a great entertainer. Glad to see him getting his due's while still here
