So agree. I love my AT pro. Down here in Australia we have different coins so the numbers & tones are different. My only part i didnt like was i upgraded to the AT max as i heard so many good things. However unfortunately you changed the tones. After 8 years of the pro i find it hard now to use the max. Why change the tones. I knew all the numbers now its like starting again. Its taken some of the enjoyment out of detecting. I find i don't go as much now due to not knowing the machine like i did the pro. Its a little disapointing. I am a chronic pain sufferer and on a Disability pension. It was the only exercise i got but since i don't go as much i am missing out on that. I have trouble bending as it makes it harx to breathe. So now with the max i dont know what i am getting if anything. If i knew i would of triex to save for another year and got better machine.

Man I wish I still had my AT Pro and AT Max. I had to sell them because all my time was spend volunteering in two towns as a firefighter and EMT. I had no time to use them. Now I’ve got more time (still volunteer) but don’t have a machine! Lol

What ever happened to the Garrett 1500? I still enjoy mine and the imaging coil. It's given me 100's of hours of enjoyment since 2006.
