For electric car purposes ONLY, the KWh is a measure of energy and how much (energy) is stored in the battery pack. IN other words, how much fuel is in the tank?? kW is a measure of power usage, in other words, how much power is being taken out of the tank (usage). A full tank of gas/petrol in a standard gas vehicle including the fuel pump, regulator, fuel lines, neck and filler and tank itself is probably about 7 X less than a Tesla Model 3 battery pack, not 10X as stated.

In these cars KW is engine power of the car(1KW=1, 341Hp).
In these cars KWh is energy capacity of the car's batteries.
