Bought this for my 16’ F-150 and I can confirm this cover is NOT secure. It can EASILY be opened with the tail gate closed. Simply pull up in the cover in the middle of the tailgate (can easily be pried up with fingers) and it bends enough to stick a hand in and pull the latch. Can easily open it in less than 15 seconds.

How does this perform under snowy conditions?  Looking for a cover for my 2017 Chevy Colorado, we live in PA and do get snow in the Winter.  I've seen other retractable covers have issues in the snow, just wondering how your Gator cover performs when it's snowing out?
