Web app developer here.

Myth: There is a single ‘best’ way to solve every coding problem.
Actuality: There can be many ways to solve a coding problem, with different trade-offs in time complexity (speed) or memory complexity (RAM usage).

For a moment I was surprissed, thinking to myself, why have I never heard about the X language before? So I stopped the video and googled it 😅

“how to center a div” is the most relatable thing you could have put there

One myth I hear a lot is that “you have to be smart to learn coding.” I personally don’t think I’m very smart, but when I talk about coding to other people, I often get “Wow! How’d you learn all that? You must be really smart!” but they don’t seem to understand that they could learn it too.

My teacher showed me this channel a month ago and im absolutely in love with these videos. One small thing though, I think you should make more in depth videos about certain topics like why and where you need certain skills (example: how linear algebra is so important in data science because it teaches alot more about how algorithms really work)

Here’s a good one: using an outdated terminal window makes you a hacker

For the 3rd one, you can find some cheat sheets and (optional) print it out. Laminate it if you can, and put it on your desk or wall. It'll save you a lot of time and you don't have to google it every single time.

When I was an intern I told my senior about the concept of get it to work and optimize/ clean it later.
He said, then you'll never learn how to write better code from beginning.. you have to learn to write better code at any point of time..
I followed him, it works in most cases. Now I'll write better code than the better code I've written previously after few days ( only happens very few times ). Im glad he said that.. or else i might've be writing bad code and may skip the optimisation part depending on the time

Most common myth: if you know programming, you should be able to fix the family printer that has been broken for the past month. You better fix it I don't want to waste money asking someone who actually knows how to fix it. Why can't you be a productive member of this family? It just takes a little problem solving it's so easy why can't you figure it out?

I love these videos man I’m really interested in programming and I’m currently working on my own project. Keep up the work!

beginners always tend to ask which is the best programming language, the fact that every language was created to serve a different purpose, just like a Bus, a car and a truck, they're all vehicles serving a different purpose

I've heard a myth that says: " don't fucking interrupt me every 5 minuts while I'm coding"
