Maneater UE4 crash fix

I was missing the word: "CPU affinity" for those of you who don't have a german windows

Hello everyone I did thisn works.
- Open task manager
- Look for Maneater
- Right Click > details
- Right click > set priority > "Higher than normal"

That works on me👍

mine was set as using 2 CPUs instead of all. When I reset it to "select all" it seem to fix the problem

thanks worked 4 me on i5 13600kf, win 11, xbox pc app. i just set it in eficiency mode everytime i launch the game

Wow, that fixed it for me, thanks for the tip. The Game appareantly could not handle the architecture of my CPU (i9 13900k) and had a problem when both P- and E- Cores were used. Also this will probably fix running "The Stanley Parable" for me, since it also does not support more than 4 cores.

try to deactive your smt[hyperthreading] in bios or via process lasso a software deaktiviert hyperthreading sprich das nur eure physikalischen kerne genutzt werden das könnt ihr via bios deaktivieren oder in process lasso dort heißt es smt

Hi, first time when i try play maneater on pc the unrealengine4 crash..but only this one time.
Next times i can play the game, but: iit looks terrible, like bad 720p..and how ever i do, higher the resolution, it still looks like 720p...what is the problem with this fucking game.i will play it, i pay 29euro!..this is the first game, who makes problems on my razer blade 15..
Anybody have ideas?

I had this problem too, all I had to do was make a new windows (misrosoft) account without any special symbols. (no é, á, ő etc.)

None of this even worked, gameplay is buggy as hell and saving doesnt even work at all, for a game thats been around for some time now you'd think it wouldnt be so complicated to play such a short game.
