I've seen a lot of hate for the looks, but I think I like it quite a bit. Very sharp imo. It isn't radically different from the MK7, so either way I think it's fine and it'll grow on people.

this car is brand new and has only 215 km in display. Your engine will say "thank you, sir" in a few month
no run in and from the beginning 6400+ rpm...lol

From a front-side view, the front bumper actually looks really good imo, but from a directly in front view, it looks weird. Other than that, the rest of the car looks great, especially the rear bumper with its minor tweaks from the MK7/7.5. The rest of the car looks almost exactly like the MK7/7.5 gen model.

Cant wait to see the aftermarket aesthetics happen for the MK8.

Its Not 4wd its on an AWD dyno so the rear wheels are being spun by the machine !!!!

Hm i really hated the golf 8 design and said that the gti looked ugly but now in this colour, i can see the potential again. All it needs is a lower et type rim and a lowering kit

Seems like the days when a vw had quite some more power than advertised is over.

Ive seen quite a lot of polo aw gti on the dyno. They are also within +\- 4hp of the claimed 200hp.

Why the torque in NM on the screen is different from the pop up text? 260 nm vs 370 nm??
