There are other products like this, the Zeovit tablets is one - but I’m confused as how this knows what the levels are to stop dosing? If the blocks are melting and releasing the elements that’s cool. But how does it know to stop?

I think Jungle had a similar product back in the 1980's. Definitely worth a try.
