Barbora Ekhachkova (formerly known as Barbora Swinx) is a Czech jazz and opera pop singer born in 1979 in jinzin, Czech Republic. She has released two solo albums, performing with her group the Barbora Swinx Boys and vocalist Quartet Il Bohemo.
Barbora began her musical journey singing and dancing in the exhausted folk dance group Gigi's Achek. She became interested in jazz singing after majoring in violin at the Teflice Conservatory and playing for the local Philharmonic for three years. She toured with Czech jazz musicians at home and abroad and has performed with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
In 2010, she released her debut album "Close to You" under the stage name Barbora Mindrinu. After returning to the Czech Republic, she adopted the stage name Barbora Swins and continued performing with the group at venues such as the Reduta Jazz Club in Prague. In 2018, she joined opera pop vocalist Quartet Il Bohemo.
