I investigated America's Most Muslim City 🇺🇸

Dearborn and Hamtramck, Michigan are two of the most unique and misunderstood cities in America. Known for housing the largest concentration of Muslims anywhere in the United States, these majority-Arab cities are brimming with culture, diversity, and controversy.

After exploring Islam in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia, I decided to see for myself just what it's like being a Muslim in America. I visited Arab owned stores, spoke to Bengali business people, explored the Islamic Center of America--the biggest mosque in the US, and even shared a meal inside the home of Iraqi and Lebanese immigrants.

Hopefully by the end of this video, you're perceptions of these cities, immigration, and maybe even Islam and Muslims itself will have changed.

I am a Mexican American Muslim. Religion is not an ethnicity (or culture). And Religion growth rate is not always due to migration, is also due to conversion (reversion) rate. Americans should learn about the history of Islam here in the U.S.. About 30% of slaves were Muslims. Researchers have done studies on the West history and have proven the existence of Muslims in America since the 12th century, before Christopher Colombus.

For clarification. Arab does not mean Muslim necessarily. For example; you said Arab and showed a south Asian guy here, probably Indian 0:22.
According to a simple google search, Arabs are around 9% of the Muslim population in Hamtramck. Biggest ethnicity being Bangladesh around 20%. Then Pakistani. They're mostly south Asian.

I disagree about young Muslims moving away from Islam, youth Muslims are more religious than ever before, matter of fact young non Muslims have embraced Islam since the genocide in Gaza started, they saw the perseverance and patience of Gazan’s and the beauty of Islam.

The Muslim Hospitability is the same for all Muslim in the world whether in China, Palestine, Europe and others. And why is that?
"According to Islamic teachings, treating a visitor with utmost respect, hospitality, and generosity is considered a great virtue, including offering them food and drink, making them feel comfortable, and showing genuine warmth, even if the host is experiencing difficulties themselves; essentially, making the guest feel welcomed and valued as a guest of Allah."
