This Is Why The Roy Rogers Museum Has Been Closed For Good

The Roy Rogers Museum was like a little slice of the Wild West right around the corner—a place where fans of all ages could enter the world of the "King of the Cowboys." For years, it was a go-to spot filled with nostalgia, showcasing everything from shiny saddles to memorabilia that brought back fond memories of classic Western films. But now, those doors have closed for good, leaving many of us scratching our heads and wondering how we got to this point. What happened to such an iconic landmark?

It's so sad to hear that the Roy Rogers Museum, which kept the legacy of the "King of the Cowboys" alive, had to close.

I went into the place in Victorville one time to get in out of the rain when riding a motorcycle around 1982. I don't remember anyone else being there. The stuffed horse was very noticeable.

Been there and loved the place, but this [the fact of the closure] is definitely a “rewind” because this is not new news. The background info is good tho. And except for the mispronunciation of Roy’s last name, I like the voice of the speaker.

I listened twice. Did you ever say WHY the museum was auctioned off??
That WAS the title.
