1938 Ford Pickup Restoration

This is the MAIN reason why i wanted my own business! we finally got a chance of a lifetime to restore this 1938 FORD PICK truck (yes a actual 1938 not a kit). This truck came in needing a lot of scratches removed and oxidation along with swirl marks as whoever had this before the customer did not polish the truck paint after it got coated. The interior def needed some help as it needed major cleaning when it came to the seats and floors. Here is everything that we did to the vehicle
*Full detail cleaning on inside and out and engine bay
*Interior- Cleaned, stain removal, shampoo, ceramic coating on seats, bench, dash, headboard
*Exterior- 2 step paint correction on all painted surfaces, polishing on all chrome, 10 Year Ceramic coating
*Wheels- Polished & 10 year ceramic coating
*Engine- Detailed then polished & 10 year ceramic coating
*truck bed- Cleaned and prepped then coated with ceramic

Beautiful truck I restored my dads 1948 Ford F1 and that was in 2014 when I got it back, been enjoying the heck out if it( lining up the trophys too)👍😁

i detailed cars from age 14 to 64, 50 years, never used a buffer, of course now my shoulders have arthritis in the I now use Mothers ceramic spray polish, it is just fantastic, I can apply a coat in about 30-40 minutes, spray on, wipe off, love the ceramics, they really fill in all the minor scratches. BECAUSE I ALWAYS APPLIED THE POLISH GOING HORIZONTAL AND NOT WITH A BUFFER, I NEVER GOT ANY SWIRL MARKS.
ALSO DON'T REMOVE THE POLISH IN CIRCLES EITHER, TOOK MORE TIME BUT I NEVER HAD 1 COMPLAINT.

Was a nice looking truck, then he cheapened it up using a POS GM engine!!!! That turned it into a turd!!
