Occurred on December 19, 2019 / Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia
"So there I was crossing the Phillip island bridge
on my morning walk and turned around to see the kangaroo approaching and couldn’t believe it. The first thing I thought was to grab my phone to video it. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten out of its way. But I had 3 options. Jump over one side 20 metres into the water, jump over the other side into the traffic or grab the phone and stick the railing as best I could. It was huge as you can hear in the commentary. It was over 6 feet tall. You can see it hesitate as it gets right to me. We just looked at each other for a split second and off it went."
