Altered Beast cheat for Mega Drive/Genesis - Level Select and Lives (including save state)

This is how to enable the level select and live options cheat for Altered Beast for Mega Drive/Genesis.

Here is the link to the save state:

This was saved using Kega Fusion and is in GSX format, I believe this will also open in Gens and probably some other Mega Drive emulators. You may need the exact ROM for this to work.
