Hungarian PM Orbán: Tariffs on Chinese EVs are against our business interest

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán told a think-tank forum in Italy that tariffs on Chinese electric cars are unreasonable. He said that European automobile producers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz among others, do not support the EU’s protectionist approach.

It all depends if you manafacture your own electric cars! Tariffs defend your manufacturing base! If you tried to import a Chevy or Ford into China, there are large Tarifs! That's why you never see them on the road over there!
