Why Olympus EM1X Will End Panasonic's M4/3 Reign

The Olympus em1x is coming out soon, and it looks to be a Panasonic killer. This release may prompt Panasonic to abandon the GH5 line and focus entirely on full frame because they won't be able to compete with it.

I am actually pretty darn excited about the EM1X. I think MFTs best feature is with bigger bodies they will hopefully no longer need gimbals. And I will say that whatever you've started doing, your videos look fantastic!

It is good to know that Panasonic is currently a King in M43 department. It is not often to hear such a confession from Olympus fanboy.

I'm curious what m4/3 sensor it will have. But anyway, if someone doesn't NEED very high dynamic range or the very best high ISO, m4/3 offers some unique solutions. I have a feeling the E-M1X will have some interesting tricks up its sleeve and not simply be a huge m4/3 E-M1. I made many, many images I love with a GH5. It just depends on your needs/wants. For my type of photography it worked out really well.

Yeah, I returned the GH5, ordered a7iii. Really disappointed actually. Probably going to end up, yet again ordering the GH5. I just think the use-ability with M43 is really good. Also the lens+body I had of the a7iii was just massive. It sort of made me not even want to shoot video. It is really nice having the ability to carry a 24-70 and a 70-200 in such a small package. I also really missed the IBIS lock feature from the GH5. To be able to get hand held footage that looks like you are on a tripod is really useful when you are out and about in the city shooting. I think there are some dis advantages to m43 but i also think you can work around them.
