I usually buy Earth Balance. But I have tried the brand You Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Vegan. I recently watched an older video by No Egg Craig and he said that the original Smart Balance is not vegan because it had vitamin D in it. So I checked Smart Balance website and it said all of their butters are now dairy free. So I picked up the Smart Balance Light with Flaxseed Oil. And even though the container doesn’t say it’s dairy free the Smart Balance website says it is.

Ha, you mentioned Wegman's. It's the greatest grocery store of all time. Once I moved to the West Coast no more Wegman's. Anyways thanks for the review. I was most researching Mykono's butter since I've had the rest. I'll give it a try now.

I’ve tried the melt and the miyoko and they are both great. I think I live the melt the best!!

How does melt compare with earth balance? Do all of you like that the best still?

I've tasted the coconut Earth Balance. I've seen Melt brands, but  never tried it. I've tried Earth Balance non-coconut butters, and Becel Vegan margarine. Maybe Becel is only available in Canada?

did the coconut butter taste very salty? I've tried the regular earth balance and found it very salty, I'm trying to make a nice vegan butter cream icing.
