I wish I could see just one of these electric bikes actually going as fast as they claim it can go.  I've seen figures like 55mph or 45mph in this video yet the top speed is always like 10mph in the videos!

Why on earth do they mount the battery weight so high on the frame?  Have they never heard of getting the weight down low for a low center of gravity?

am very poor guy I live on village with my parents :( we live on big hill so  its really hard to go back home its 15 miles away from city I dont have friends and girlfriends nothing :( e bike would save my life can 1000W do big hills ? :( am thinking to buy one sorry for my horrible english

Sorry, but I don't get it. Where is the point? Who's gonna buy an electric mountain bike? I understand the technology innovation/development... but if I too lazy for pedalling, want to be faster, and jumping biggers I will buy a motocross bike and don't give a shit for air pollution. Or for this money I going to buy a car and won't freeze in winter.
"Electric" and the "bike" not fit next to each other, only for the babushkas. This is just my poor opinion, but yeah... Congrat for this.
