Zebra Shark Eggs Candling | TheDeepHull

Our Aquarists are busy caring for a number of shark egg cases behind the scenes, which were recently laid by one of our female zebra sharks. In this video, we are using a process called 'candling' where light is shone through the case to see if any embryos have developed.

Shark eggs are very delicate so they're not out of the water yet (excuse the pun). We have to wait until later in the year to see if any hatch... but we will keep you posted. Fingers crossed!
