Each country may has different types of folks musics. From town to town, village by village this can be changed. Different music instrument or different style of folk music maybe used.

Aita originated among Moroccan Bedouins in the 19th century as a result of famous stories about Al-Shaikhat and authoritative leaders, which reflected two social and political realities during that period.

Rural varieties include Jerra and al-Aïta (literally "the cry"). Several artists performing this genre are known, such as Hajib, Stati, Najat Aatabou, Senhaji and Khalid Bennani.

Moroccan music is just as magical as the country itself. Different styles of music include Amazigh folk, gnawa, rai, chaabi, and Andalusian. What’s really special about Moroccan music is the amount of the cultural influences that are reflected in it. However, the separation of the sea has allowed Morocco to create their own musical vibe with inspiration from surrounding cultures.

Two years ago, I drove from Marrakech all the way down through the Atlas to Zagora Desert. It was amazing! The drive took about 7 hours and the driver played a music channel that had very trance like music. Trance as in: it sort of got me in a trance. Traditional music with drums, not very high pitches, not a lot of singing, sometimes a little speech. Does anyone know the name of this genre??

Could you please help me with the names of musical instruments in this video? Would like to explore bedouine musical instruments with my primary school class. Thank you.
