Hi I'm gonna argue, I really feel like you're talking about a running Playstyle. Maybe it's me, but what I consider a passive playstyle is one that reacts to what happens to them. E.x. What I do (Full 60 Medic) is Stay in essentially a single area, I don't chase, I don't run away. I'll dodge around in the region I'm at when whoever I'm fighting comes at me and basically pressure the hell out of them til they feel the need to back off. And When they do, I'll Encompass & Heal, making them need to come back or else lose their progress. This is what I'd call Passive: you're waiting for your opponent to do something, and retaliating in kind, not being aggressive, but punishing aggressiveness. A "Bad Passive" player's a trackstar or running player, not a passive one IMO. Granted, could be biased myself.

Quincy Kido is debatably a agressive playstyle, If and Only if you use less than 50 sp in kido and the rest in anything else other than medic. Personal preference, i use 45kido 20speed and apply alot of pressure becuase of the insane usage of projectiles, and you can still get close to fill ur combo in with crits and m1s for soulstyle.

I recently started using hakuda on my sr slot and found myself going aggressive cause I used be aggressive with Akido, and tbh I do pretty good, mainly because people don't expect a hakuda player to apply so much pressure.

It also def depends on your res. In my snake hakuda (partial essence) I tend to play much more aggressive which usually works, but on my ice speed I usually play more passive for reasons like rei drain and other things.

I am aggressive on both qkido and akido and utilizing both range and close range combat, being a medic helps alot in getting skilled with other skill tree

I find it funny how people think hakuda is just 123445…. It doesn’t make sense.. if someone parries you gotta mix it up and feint because people will get use to fighting you if you use the same combos… it’s pretty easy to parry if you get the timing down too

i feel like hakuda is a mix of bouth since you need to be right infront of the other person to hit them with 95% of your moves but at the same time if you miss moves like tor reach rising shot or shori your kinda cooked and are gonna have to dodge or back away since you cant do nothing on the ground or you have to geet invovate with ground moves

Why do you recommend passive for kendo if it has so many block breaks and high posture moves?

I like how the kids in the comments be talking about hakuda like they dont have the most brain dead kendo/ quincy kido build in the game

Theres definitely trash kido players (most kido users) but iv’e run into some kido users who apply pressure and its terrible to fight

is it just me or bro did not mention medic, well then ill explain medic:

when playing medic u really only have 1 playstyle, agressive, you need to be constantly on ur oponents face putting in pressure because medic does no damage, if ur an arrancar u can play passive but thats a pretty disgusting playstyle so i dont condone it, but if ur a sr or quincy medic then make use of ur weapons m1s and crit because thats gonna be ur main source of damage.

look for openings when ur oponents use moves, you would mainly want to use perfect dodges instead of parries because of endlag (when players get parried they are put on parry stun, but if they are never parried they are put on endlag which then u can punish), if you dodge a skill instantly use soul link or bloody canvas.

if you get a blockbreak wait a little, dont instantly use a skill because then its just wasted, when u get a blockbreak you should always wait until you feel like the stun is almost over then m1 first and use another blockbreak (like weapon crits and maybe even reiatsu rend if they are on high posture, 80% of the times this works for me), if it all goes well ur oponent will get blockbroken again, which then you repeat the process for free damage.

if ur having trouble running after a passive playstyle user, just sit back, use encompass, and use healing circle. Now, we medic mains all know how utter garbage is medic healing, thats why youre not using healing circle to heal, but to bait ur oponent into confronting you.
