You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.

Hare Krishna, Sir I am a senior citizen. As it is, my hearing capacity is reduced. With the audio going so low, it is becoming difficult to concentrate. Please help us by restoring the original audio volume of discourse. Hare Krishna

There are three considerations here:
*prescribed duties*
The work prescribed in accordance to vedic scriptures.
*Capricious work*
means actions without the sanction of authority or the vedic scriptures.
*inaction*
means not performing one’s prescribed duties.
♦️ *Prescribed duties* are obligatory duties means we have to do it but then we are not intrested (or attached) to do it, we are just doing it bcoz it is prescribed.
♦️Working without getting attached to the results.
♦️Similarly here arjuna is asked to fight bcoz it is his prescribed duty as a kshatriya.
♦️Both capricious work and inaction are sinful.
♦️Doing prescribed duties without getting attached to the results is easily possible only when we are practicing bakthi.

Hare Krishna Gurudev 👏👏👏
Here Shri Krishna is telling that we should do our karma without get attached with the result of it and do the Karma (work) according to vedas and by getting attached to it will cause bondage to us

Not doing the work knowing the result of it is also not acceptable it will be sinful reactions to us and,
If we can do work for the pleasure of Shri Krishna we will not attached to result of it because shree Krishna will cut all the bondage can liberate us and this knowledge is gain by us by doing bhakti

Akarma : leaving our duty
Vikarma : deeds which are not prescribed and wrong

Karma (svadharam) : this karma is which one derives from the modes of nature .
We have to do our karma withoutt
Thinking abt what the result will be. Hare krishna

Performing duties without getting attached to the result. Work with the attachment brings bondage. Inaction for work is also not good. Practicing bhakti is the solution and we do it for the pleasure of Krishna. 🙏Hare krishna

Hare krishna prabhuji,
Prescribed duties are activities in terms of one’s acquired modes of material nature. Capricious work means actions without the sanction of authority, and inaction means not performing one’s prescribed duties.
One who is attached to the result of his work is also the cause of the action.

Hare Krishna
Nishkama Karma yoga: Do your prescribed duty, but not entitled for the result. When attached to the result, one becomes cause of the result. So should suffer sin or enjoy.
