TESTED: The UPDATED Nash Dwarf Rod Range

Показать описание
The Nash Dwarf range of carp fishing rods offers more than you might expect. Most carp anglers are familiar with the relatively new demand for shorter rods with retractable butt sections but the distinction between Nash’s Scope and Dwarf ranges might be slightly vague for the uninitiated. Scopes came first and remain the flagship, while the Dwarf rods offer a more wallet-friendly introduction to the concept—and they’ve recently been updated…

I’ve just bought 2 6ft Dwarfs 2lb and 3lb tc off the back of this video along with a dwarf bag. Great little package at a great price from Total Fishing Tackle. Not used them yet but I plan to keep this kit in the car at all times for when that sudden urge and opportunity comes to head off to the lake. Absolutely agree, as great as it is to land the biggest carp you can it’s equally important that a great part of the enjoyment is just being by the lake on a nice day; away from the daily stresses and to just to take it all in without a care. That is the beauty of fishing to me and it a welcome form of meditation I’ve enjoyed for the last year and is now a part of my life that I cannot do without.

Ive just bought a set of the 6ft 3lb test curves and cant wait to use them. Two of the syndicate waters im on are not the hugest and have a lot of tree coverage around so thats why i got them mainly. Top video mate.

Great to see some recognition! I love my 6ft 2lb.tc dwarf great for margin/stalking had some nice carp on it. I also have a set of 9ft 3lb dwarfs that I use for anything else can't fault them!

Brilliant intro! Totally agree that many are concentrating totally on breaking their PB and 'Monster Carp' syndrome instead of enjoying catching and admiring all carp. The heavier ones aren't even always the best fighters, sometimes a small double gives the fight of its life whereas its big brother comes in like a tired bream!

Great bit of kit looking to get these hopefully in 2lb tc i’m working all the time and when I can get out that’ll be perfect just a standard set up with a blowback rig Just getting out for 2 to 3 hours and I would have him in shrinkwrap

That intro sums up fishing perfectly for me. I fish for all species, tench being my favourite but I think smaller fish are actually better looking - before they get bloated. Just bought a Nash dwarf 6ft 1lb rod as I think it will cover my bomb / method feeder fishing for all species nicely

I got my 12ft carp rods, but I've had a dwarf since they came out, just for stalking on rivers and canals. I also use it when I fish a lake with carp up to 20lb, with a quiver tip rod as my 2nd rod.

I fish for fun, I love carp of any size, if its a small venue with small carp I downsize the test curve.
For me it's a place of solice to escape the stress of life, phoenix heroes a veterans carp angling club has saved my life.

Great video, exactly the same way I fish on short sessions. I use the 2tc and 3tc cork handles. What lb line you using on each rod?

I have a 6ft dwarf rod and love it. Used it more this year than my normal setup. Caught some lovely fish stalking in the margins and being stealthy. Cant go wrong so much fun 👍

I have 2 2lb 6ft dwarfs. Under £100 for two fantastic and fun fishing rods. Amazing for stalking and even for “normal carp fishing” with leads on smaller venues. Im honestly debating buying more of them

In Washington state, USA, there are many trees and small waters. The smaller, lighter equipment is the most fun, especially knowing that you can catch a PB anytime.

I have just purchased a set of 3 10ft dwarfs rods. But I have found the Nash dwarf rod bag to be really tight and a squeeze to fit in with the reels plus there isn't much protection for the reels. What rod bags do you use i them...there must be a better substitute for it. Disappointed with the rod bag????
