what would be the symptoms for bad starter fused? I have changed my starter twice, change crank sensor, change battery and alternator and my car is still having star problems. i have no check engine light. I used to get long crank before it start or tried multiple times before it start (multiple mechanics shop tried and couldn'tget to bottom of it)....now I have no crank at all and no start. what I get now is like a hissing sound or like a vent/air going through the engine.

Hello. I have a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L with a push start button ignition. I was cycling through my ignition modes when suddenly I couldn't start the car at all. The brake pad feels hard to push and there are no lights on the dashboard when I attempt to initiate the ignition. I tried removing my battery terminal and putting it back to see if it'll help, but nothing so far. The car was working fine up until I messed with the push button to test my dashcam in parking mode after attempting to make adjustments with hiding the wires under my steering wheel (by messed with, I mean just cycling through the modes without my foot on the brake pedal).

There are no lights on the dashboard, power to the radio/ac or the green light from the push button itself, but somehow all the other lights and features work and still have power? (I locked and unlocked my doors no problem with my key fob and my aftermarket Compustar remote start actually starts my car as it normally does but I can't initiate the starter after pushing the brake pad and the car just immediately shuts off, so I can't even bypass this issue this way)

Do you think this is a starter fuse issue or a random push start buttom malfunction issue that decided to fail out of nowhere?

I have a 2017 accord ex-l with a similar issue.changed the starter yesterday. Car started fine. Then a day later..i have power but 0 crank. Only a few clicks and the car goes into auxiliary mode. Any advice?

I want to send u a video of my Honda Accord sport 2015, we change de starter and battery and still no cranking intermittent a least once a week… my mechanic put a wire straight from the battery to the starter that way when the problem show up i could try to turn on the car that way and it happens, the car start, and after that the car still turn on with the key…. Any chance to send u a video? To see what can it be

Hi there. I recently purchased 2017 accord LX.
Car was checked - for any problems - starter, battery and alternator. nothing.
What i get is, sometimes it wont start right away .
but on 2nd try start always.
its not happened all time.
But eventually happen -
My question is what could be the problem .
Btw - car have some aftermarket (s...t) remote -what I dont get -what doing .its key start .

Hi, I got in an accident about a month ago and got my car back like two weeks ago. My car only drove for one day and then it would not turn back on. No power what so ever. The doors wouldn’t even lock. We took it back to the shop that they “fixed” it at, and they said it was the starter. I bought a new starter and am hoping to change it soon. Could this really be the issue?

Hello I hope you can help. I drove through about 2 ft of water when it flooded. My lights started flickering and would not crank. I took the starter off had it tested and it was bad. I purchased a new starter, new batter and it still won’t crank. Fuses look good. Not sure what else it could be. Any suggestions

Hi I checked this large fuse all is good there. I loss all power to the car. Any thoughts on another fuse it might be? Does the 2017 have a battery terminal fuse?

We have have a 2015 Honda Accord Sport. We replaced the starter and battery months ago and since then we are not able to start the car the first time, unless we disconnect the negative or positive cable, reconnect it and then crank the car. After that it runs and drives fine. What could this possibly be?

My neighbor young couple with two kids, there 2015 Accord had a low battery, so we charged it and then we put it back in, the car would not start, it did not click like a dead battery, but something I have never heard before, it sounded like the engine trying to turn over, but not the sound of a real car, but the sound of a kids electric toy jeep, very quiet. The car will not start, any ideas?

I have 2013 accord 4 cylinder and I was driving and my car turned off out of nowhere…. All of my technical functions work radio, display, sunroof but my dashboard only shows “Power on”. I have tried jumping and even bought a new battery in hopes of it working but no luck. I’m looking into possible alternator or starter now.

Hello RB, My Honda Accord 2014 suddenly shut down while driving. The Honda main dealer could not fix the problem. They've checked everything on the computer and everything is working fine. They changed the spark plugs and air filter and the problem is not fix. When I drive it for over two hours it starts happening suddenly. It normally happens 2 times every couple days. Appreciate your advise back .

Sup having an issue with the fact when I turn off the car the power remains on it’s strange I cannot lock the car so I would than have to disconnect the battery and hook it back on while doing so it than allows me to lock the vehicle with alarm .

My battery keeps draining overnight. I’ve replaced the alternator and the battery so it’s neither of those. When I test with multimeter the fuse 21 “Back Up” fuse voltage drops when removing. I replaced this fuse and it’s still draining overnight and voltage still drops when removing the same fuse. Any ideas?
