Why is everyone complaining about the battery life? Like bro you ain’t gonna run the car on electric power only. Most owners won’t even take this car to a track and completely deplete it.

Motor runs on gas= drive and drive= brake which charges the electric battery thru Kinetic energy if it’s anything like any other hybrid which makes batter pretty much never die but if you leave it for a while those batteries will go bad depending on the charge left in them which can be expensive I suppose it might matter if you try to drive 14miles in reverse.
