I’ve been trying to read more on my kindle. I’m just like you. I love physical books but I can’t collect physical books. My physical book collection can only be my favorites. I frequently visit my library but library timelines give me anxiety. I also can’t resist a deal when they are 1.99 or 0.99 or new titles for 2.99. I’ve just recently read Shadow and Bone on my kindle. I got the new paper white so I can reverse the contrast the make the background black because I get migraines easily. It works like a gem. I wish scribd books could be read on the paper white.

My epic fantasy books I have to read physically. We need to do a read my kindle books readathon!

If you sign up for the Tor “book club” newsletter they occasionally offer free ebooks and I’ve been able to add a few great titles that way, like Way of Kings and the Murderbot Novellas (and I don’t even have a Kindle — I use the Kindle app). I’ve had Vicious forever too and haven’t got around to reading it.

I do the majority of my reading on my Kindle. I like it because it allows my to "carry" multiple books at one time.

I have a few on my Kindle that I picked up because they were cheap or free, but I forget about them all the time. I do usually have at least one book going at a time on mine, it’s what I crawl in bed with and read for half an hour before going to sleep.

My kindle tbr is probably at least twice the size of my physical TBR. I would like to read more physical books, but there are so many good deals and I mostly read in bed at night which is also more comfortable than reading a physical book... so I guess its find, but I do love physical books so much! I'm torn

So many books! My Kindle is the same model as yours or possibly more ancient. I don’t care that it’s not fancy but it is a struggle if I want to highlight and take notes without a touchscreen.

i really want to read how to lose the time war as well. I keep buying 0.99s as well and I've ended up with more than 500 ebooks :-D

I use my kindle for primarily library books, although I do own some (like the stormlight books) according to my spreadsheet I now read 50% physical and 50% ebook which feels right. Especially since sometimes I just don't want to read a big fantasy book with the physical book. I also jump between formats a lot whether I am in bed, or on my commute etc.

I have no self-control when it comes to the daily deals so I have a frankly insane number of books I haven't gotten to. I think I'm up to several hundred at this point, though it did take several years to amass them all. I tend to like having the Kindle version so that if I can't carry the book with me or if the book is super big and unwieldy, I can just use my Kindle.

Kindle last forever. I definitely liked upgrading mine I had the old one that didn’t even backlight. Luckily they don’t cost much either and regularly have sales.
