This is full of falsehoods. He did not do any research clearly, as the mother was shot dead along with the father. The dad was rich, not the sons. Allegedly, the father severely abused both boys psychologically and physically. The teachers and coaches thought their life testified that the father was so extremely harsh, it seemed to hinder the boys rather than help them. They both were noted by teachers to have learning and speech disabilities. Ad they got older the alleged abuse continued, until Lyle went to college on the east coast, and Erik was required to stay at UCLA and come sleep at home multiple nights a week so the father could “monitor his school work”. This was the last straw for Erik as he felt his only escape was being taken, and he knew the excuse to have him home was a way to continue the abuse. In regard to the money theory, it was believed that they were removed from the will BEFORE the murder, as well as a 5mil life insurance policy would have gone into effect the week after the date of the murders, which the sons had knowledge of. They would have received that 5mil if they waited a week, and believe it they had been removed from the will, they still killed both parents. Allegedly, the mother was complacent, the father was outright brutal. They grew up with little room to grow, and with their growth stunted minds decided the only way out was to murder both parents.

The father abused them physically and mentally. He raped Erik since his sixth birthday and both him and the mother were sexually assaulting both sons. The mom would force them to have sex with their girlfriends and both parents would take nude photos of the boys. The person who made the show is disgusting he portrayed incest and sexualized them to an outrageous amount. He made the parents look like the victims and the boys look like psychopaths, yet he thinks that Lyle and Erik would be “proud” of the show? He’s disgusting. Nobody should take anything from the show seriously because that is nothing like them or how they acted, they were kind hurt people. Knowing what they went through they should not have gone to prison or at least for that long. Their parents deserved it, they weren’t monsters, their parents were. Plus if you think they are lying someone close with the family came out and said that when he visited their house the father would rape him as well. God it makes me so mad.
