This is my reaction to The Shaun Micallef Programme - Trans Debate

In this video I react to Australian comedy by reacting to Australian comedian Shaun Micallef and funny comedy television show The Shaun Micallef Programme.

Micallef has ALWAYS been ahead of his time. Nobody was ever doing what he was doing with political satire. The man's a genius of Australian comedy.

I like Micallef, but I don't think the chicken-arsed ABC would show him doing this again.

What makes Micallef kinda different than a lot of current comedians who might touch on these controversial topics is that his humour somehow doesn't seem to come from a place of hate or disrespect while still managing to poke fun at its subject matter. He kinda just sees the absurdity of every day life and seems to find the funny in it and that's where his humour comes from.

I travel extensively as part of my job around Australia and overseas and meet hundreds of people in the process. I've not yet actually met someone who has expressed to me that they're "offended" by this stuff, but I've met literally dozens of people who bitterly complain about people being offended. Something odd is happening with people's mindset here.

Australian television especially the ABC wouldn't allow true satire to be screened today. Its such a waste of talent. Micallef has always been brilliant.

This would still go down well in Australia, yet there are so many woke around the world today that someone is bound to complain just for the sake of it. Hardly anyone seems to have a sense of humour anymore which is terribly sad. Lighten up everyone and enjoy a good laugh. It's what the world needs!🇦🇺💖😂

Shaun Micallef is hilarious. I remember him on Thank God You're Here. He's funny. Lol you should check out Thank God You're Here which is basically a show around improv.

Not many people know that Shaun Micallef is a practicing Barrister(QC-KC). I have not seen him in the body of the Court, but I venture that he is a wonderful orator.
