How can someone nullify the Word of God? Human traditions are much easier to follow than the commandments of God. Because they’re human rules, you don’t risk being unpopular if you follow them. But Jesus taught that we should follow the Word of God and the Word of God alone. And the worst human traditions are the ones that nullify, or cancel out, God’s Word.

Simple and easy to follow for a person who's heart is complete towards God! On the other hand the Pharisees had developed a system of 613 laws, 365 negative commands and 248 positive laws... By the time Christ came it had produced a heartless, cold, and arrogant brand of righteousness! As you stated, nullify the word of God! How did Jesus feel about this, notice what Matthew 9:36 says Seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd.
