→ ‘Wavy Gravy’ is taken from ‘Sasha : re-Fracted: Live’ limited edition Blu-Ray (Sold Out). Re-Fracted was a two day event at London’s Barbican, hosted by Sasha, and accompanied by an orchestra, and performing songs from his ‘Scene Delete’ album released on Late Night Tales, along with tracks from his back catalogue.

This seminal classical, brought a sold out Barbican hall to their feet, tipping his hat to an old classic, but with a modern, neo-classical edge.

The Welsh producer and Grammy nominee played live on piano and electronics alongside his core production team (long-time collaborators Charlie May/Spooky, Dennis White/Thermal Bear, and Dave Gardner), with an eight piece string section, a percussionist and live vocalists. Those lucky enough to get Barbican tickets bore witness to a special performance of his Scene Delete album as well as a reinterpretation of iconic tracks from his back catalogue, including Wavy Gravy and Battleships

"It was a mountain to climb. The last few days of rehearsals, it just got tighter and tighter. It went from this frantic atmosphere a month before the show, everyone panicking, to suddenly everyone going, “Oh this is working, it’s going to be great!” It achieved everything and more by doing it the way we did. In terms of a personal achievement, the fact that I’ve learned to play again is such an important part of this for me. I am crying right now as he brings my memories back to Sonar festival ending the festival with 30.000 people dancing while the sun rised over the horizon of Barcelona. Sasha takes you on his journee if pure love, there are few that are able to change the world to a better place. Sasha do it musically, others by painting, writing or just being. This is so an underated artist. I'm listening to Sasha since I was a little kid (i'm 34). Now I grew up and realised that there are a few people who kept listnening to good music.
