The first time I heard this was at a Lorde concert, and when the sax came in for the first time, it was probably the first time a piece of music had truly shocked me since I had first listened to George Crumb's Ancient Voices of Children. I felt it viscerally. And now that I'm feeling some heartbreak, especially in the middle of this pandemic, when I'm more alone than ever, the lyrics hit harder than they ever have. Bravo.
