Eric Moore is AMAZING. If you want to see something absurd, years ago he actually did a drum-off with death metal drummer Derek Roddy. Somehow they each actually kept up with each other. It's incredible.

A little behind the scenes ... Yeah, Eric tunes as a lot of seasoned pros do, mostly by feels but he gets a pretty specific pitch from each of the drums. In another video he plays When The Saints Go Marching In on the toms. We shot 2 of this song. Chris Brady, the Aquarian rep, and I looked at each other and shrugged as to which one we would pick. Both were like this but for me, it was near the end with the floor/kick/high tom bit that he slowly cycles down the rack toms with the kick floor pattern blazing underneath. There was very little warm up. We got everything set and got levels in the ear monitors, cameras were ready and he just exploded. This video, a couple solos with no music and a few demo videos for the heads and it was all done in about 2.5 hours and we were off to lunch. It took longer to set up and tear down the mics than it did for him to lay this down. On top of it, Eric is a great guy. Check out the ice rink videos. Those were fun!!!! anyone discovering Eric Moore with this video, check him out on the Track / Video "Smash it" by Suicidal Tendencies. Back in the day when that album came out, I had to admit that Mr. Moore wa way more talented that anyone gave him credit for. He has made a name for himself among the greats.
