I saw lots of dismissive comments about this box set because the films were “too obscure”. Quality under-seen movies having fantastic new releases and for new audiences should be championed. If you haven’t seen any of the movies, awesome! Buy the set, you’ll love it. Synecdoche, New York is one of the best films of all time in my opinion.

Run Lola Run has been one of my favs since watching it on Channel 4 in the UK in the 90s, so happy to see it get exposure in this set ☺️.

One thing to note about Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon... Eventhough it's been released on 4K before, it has never had a Dolby Vision release before to my knowledge. This set includes a Dolby Vision color grade for the movie. (all movies in the set as fark as I know)

I scooped this up when it dropped to 139.99. Haven't watched them all but they are titles I either already love or have always wanted to see. I never got into the Columbia Classics sets so this was my first box set like this and it's awesome.

Bought it JUST for CITY OF LOST CHILDREN. The CROUCHING TIGER in this set has Dolby Vision 4K- the previous 4K version was only HDR10

Run Lola Run looks insane in this set. That's the only one I've watched so far other than crouching Tiger. It was from what I understand remastered to Dolby vision on this release.

I got this set for my birthday (a few days ago as of this writing). I was really looking forward to getting it, and it is a really nice set! I definitely wanted to watch The Devil's Backbone first, because I am a big Del Toro fan, but that is one of his films that I had not seen so I really wanted to watch it (I did end up enjoying it and I thought it was great!)

For years I've heard that you can't watch Pan's Labywrinth without seeing Devil's Backbone first.
And now, finally, here's Devil's Backbone in 4K. Also like to see stuff like Crouching Tiger, Run Lola Run,
and that Phil Hoffman thing. Plus the price is lower than I would have expected. Not too shabby.😎

I didn't realise how well designed the packaging was, but shouldn't have been surprised as I have Columbia Classics 1-3. I was on the fence about getting this set at full price but will do based on your review, and the care Sony puts into their remasters, all have DV and Atmos, including Crouching Tiger that they added Dolby Vison to in this set.

Even though I’m not a fan of most of those movies in that boxset, I like Crouching Tiger on 4K, the design looks really good. Sony Pictures puts a lot of effort into 4K physical media more than other Hollywood studios like Disney and Warner Bros.
