I feel like Mike's entire character was built on the fact that he couldn't sing and the only reason he was in glee was bc he could dance but honestly the few times you heard him sing he was pretty good

I love the symbolism at the end where we see Santana and Karovsky. She’s halfway out of the closet, wearing her shirt but not dancing with the others while he’s not even close, zipped up and with his arms crossed over his chest.

Watching this being 16 years old back in the day, Naya captured through Santana exactly how I felt about myself at that time. The fear of accepting that I was different and the repercussions it would have on my life. She made me understand that it was okay to be myself, and doing so I'd have the support of my friends and family. And it was exactly that way. I can't believe that Naya is no longer with us as I'm writing this. You will forever be a force larger than life and a bright light inside out hearts. Your legacy will live forever. I loved santana so much. She struggled a lot with her identity and you can see it here and her journey to acceptance was powerful and real. This show in the beginning was so important to me in my adolescence. RIP Naya ♥️
