As a GenX-er who was a bit goth back in the day, Elvira is very much for me. I can’t believe I was lucky enough to get one, and she’s already shipped. She may be my only Monster High doll. I only started doll collecting last year, and was immediately turned away from Mattel/Monster High when the Creeproductions sold out and never restocked. MGA is SO much better about making all their dolls actually obtainable

Living in the UK the lack of these dolls being available for us to buy just helps my bank balance so much. I wish Mattel wasn't so intent on keeping MH for themselves, I mean stateside so MGA has got it covered I guess. But none of these dolls sing to my soul which is lucky....(Mattel make MH available in the UK please).

I agree about Karla about the eyebrows. I didn't want to get her, but I saw her in person and fell in love and couldn't leave her. Someone also said her outfit reminds them of anime and I can see that. 

In terms of LOL, the Sunshine Makeover Bubblegum DJ is my favorite LOL doll in my collection. She has a cute blue tank underneath her top (which I don't like the top). I have Ali Dance, and she's one of my top 3 tweens.

I got 2 of the Disney ILY dolls and 3 of the fashion packs. They are so cute. I hope they make more so I can get one that looks like me eventually maybe.

I actually like the Sunshine Makeover OMGs more than the Shadow High 2 dolls. I guess I just enjoy pastels and fun colors more.

I agree with you on Elvira in that she was ot worth getting. I actually own the Mezco LDD Presents version which did include her, ahem, assests. Also the price is way too high for a doll that comes with nothing. All the other Skullector dolls had props such as the Dracula Barbie who had a candelabra and floating bat or Greta the Gremlin who came with a Gizmo, purse, and lipstick. Elvira could have come with her dog at least but she comes with nothing and is the same price as those two other dolls. Hard pass from me.

I was a bit meh about Karla but I've seen so many photos of her now and she's sooo stunning. She like a pale pink Natasha Zima. SH2 haven't come out in my city yet.
I'm dying for Glitch and Rex. Im normally not into boy dolls but I love the greyscale dolls so I love him. I really love his hair.

I always think with people like Elvira or Paris Hilton if you're of a certain age and grew up with them they will appeal more. I remember loving Elvira/Cassandra Peterson from when I was a teenager so the doll definitely appealed to me, but ultimately I knew I wasn't going to get her, mainly because it's made so hard to get any of these dolls, particularly if you're not in the US. I'm still surprised that Paris Hilton was the celebrity they chose to make a doll out of in the RH range, mainly because I figure not many people know who she is now, but presumably I'm wrong.

I feel similarly to you about Dia Mante. I love the short hair style because it's different but that purple skin is just really sticks out to me in a way that Monique's doesn't and Zooey's green skin again doesn't. I do like Karla though so plan to get her, even if she gives me the vibes of a 50 year old woman who's trying to dress young and chain smokes even in her sleep.

Of the Sunshine LOL's the one pictured in the centre of the three dolls is the one who appeals to me because she looks so 60s which I'm obsessed with, but the others don't really appeal. The jury is out on Western Cutie as I like the hair and the fact she has a Stetson.

I love love love Karla’s clothes but I’m with you in not being sure about the doll herself. I really would like the Disney ily 4ever accessory packs but yeah I’ll need to be honest with myself and tell myself I’m not going to use them 😂 I really debated about the na na na minis but since I’ve lately gotten the normal na na na surprises for around $10 on sale, I had to decide not to. That $10 can help go to another doll 😄

I Agree with you on Karla. I love her suit and color scheme, but the eyebrow color makes her looks like she has no eyebrows, especially from a distance.

Ali Dance is the only one I will get. Jenny Rocks looks like a less polished version of Emma Emo. The one I'm eyeing is Max waiting for him to get cheaper.

I’m unsure on these newest budget MH dolls. Ali Dance was my fav Tweens in series 4 😂😉. I kind of like SH Karla she reminds me of the lady Gaga MH doll for some reason. But I only have Zooey & Monique to start. If I buy another doll soon I kind of want another Disney ily 4ever 11 inch fashion doll I have Snow White so far and a few fashion packs. January was a lot to budget with so many new releases and I think March 1st is gonna be another time for even more releases. I do have Skulltimate Secrets Clawdeen def want to get Lagoona when they release on Amazon etc 🤞🤞🤞

I want to love LOL omg dolls but it weirds me out how theyr faces are flat like a pancake.
I'm not into Monster High but I'm tempted by that Draculaura playset. Her doll is the cutest version to me. I don't like the ones with bangs. The gothic accessories are really cute. I love pink pretty things but also dark gothic things so I love a combo of the two.
The Disney ones are cute but I don't think I'll get them. Their eyes are a bit funny. Like they just saw a ghost. I like the Belle and Tiana ones best.

I only know who Elvira is because on every single food network halloween show she would be a judge! I don’t truly know how she got famous… I agree with your shadow high opinions. The purple is so stark but I do love the boy doll’s outfit. I really enjoyed series one being greyscale but that definitely can be limited. Also, what are your thoughts on Kavi? I know you don’t typically cover 18 inch dolls but it is a release from January. My feed is so saturated with AG collectors opinions and I would love to see the thoughts of a non-18 inch doll collector
